CONDEMNATION OF ISRAEL’S BARBARIC ATTACKS AND AGGRESSIONS AGAINST THE INNOCENT PALESTINIANS
AND
OBSERVEANCE OF PROTEST DAY
ON FRIDAY, THE 21ST MAY, 2021.

Mr. Khush Dil Khan, Vice-Chairman and Mr. Muhammad Faheem Wali, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Pakistan Bar Council have strongly condemned Israel’s aggressions, cruelties and utter violation of human rights against grieved people of Palestine and attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the holy month of Ramadan – the sacred place of Muslim Ummah, expressing their deep concerns in consequence of Israelian Army’s barbarian air attacks on innocent civilians residing in Gaza City, that resulted in many deaths and casualties that included women and children. They have also urged International Fora like United Nations (UN) and Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), to break their silence over said aggressions and requested them to show their solidarity with innocent Palestinians.

They have also urged the Government of Pakistan to play its due practical role and demanded to take immediate steps at International level to build pressure upon Israel to stop these hostilities against innocent Palestinian Muslims.

The resolution dated 18.05.2021 regarding Israel’s Aggression against Palestinians was circulated amongst the learned Members of the Pakistan Bar Council, under Rule 91 of the Pakistan Legal Practitioners & Bar Councils Rules, 1976, the Council unanimously decided that the Pakistan Bar Council and the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan will observe nationwide PROTEST on Friday, the 21st May, 2021, to show solidarity with the people of Palestine, and in this regard they will hold protest meeting outside the Supreme Court Building, Islamabad at 11:00 a.m. The Pakistan Bar Council also advised to the Provincial/Islamabad Bar Councils and all the Bar Associations throughout the Country, to observe PROTEST accordingly, within their respective areas of jurisdiction.
