Syed Qalb-i-Hassan, Member, Pakistan Bar Council and Mr. Abdul Latif Afridi and Mr. Muhammad Yaseen Azad, Former Presidents of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan, have strongly condemned the yesterday’s unconstitutional, unlawful and malafide statement of Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad that he has advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to impose Governor’s Rule in Sindh and his allegation of Horse-trading and conspiring against democracy to Sindh government.

They expressed their grave concerns and reacted to Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad and condemned his desperate utterances and threatening for imposition of Governor Rule in Sindh, which will provoke an unprecedented retaliation from the people of Sindh and such like statements would create qiyas in the Country and would amount to derail the democratic process. They further said that Bar’s always support to democratic process and against any violence to thwart a Constitutional process and any unconstitutional move by the Federal Government to impose Governor’s Rule in Sindh, will not be tolerated by the public at large and the entire legal fraternity will oppose it by tooth and nail. They also said that there are no circumstances and justification for such like Act.
