I, Haroon-ur-Rashid, Vice-Chairman, Pakistan Bar Council express deep concern regarding the so called Resolution on behalf of Pakistan Bar Council, circled on social media from five Members of the Pakistan Bar Council out of 23 Members of this Council.

 

It is clarified that the Pakistan Bar Council always issues a Resolution passed in its meeting and now a days neither its meeting is held nor any Resolution is passed, therefore, that so called Resolution is an individualistic and minority view of just five Members, which cannot be considered/called as a Resolution and it does not represent/reflect the stance of the Pakistan Bar Council. The aforementioned so called Resolution/statement amounts to a minority dictating the majority. The entire legal fraternity stands firmly with the Rule of law and upholding the Constitution of Pakistan.
