SUPPORTING PAKISTAN PETITION & DECLARATION FOR PALESTINE

ISSUED BY THE

JINNAH CENTRE FOR THE RULE OF LAW.

 

Mr. Haroon-ur-Rashid, Vice-Chairman and Mr. Hassan Raza Pasha, Chairman, Executive Committee of this Council have expressed unequivocal support of the Pakistan Bar Council and endorsed the “Pakistan Petition & Declaration” of the “Jinnah Centre for the Rule of Law” , which pertains to inhuman/barbaric aggression of Israel against Palestine. They also expressed that the Council ever strived for the Rule of Law in the Country as well as in the world and they strongly condemned the violence of Isreal’s upon innocent Palestinians and expressed unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine who have been subjected to ongoing aggression, cruelties, airstrikes that resulted in many deaths and casualties in utter violation of human rights and international humanitarian law.

 

They while supporting the “Pakistan Petition & Declaration for Palestine” expressed that legal community of Pakistan is deeply concerned about the loss of innocent lives, particularly women and children, displacement and destruction of homes and infrastructure of the innocent Palestinians, have extended their support to prosecution going on before the International Criminal Court against all actors, who supporting genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Palestine. They further extended their support the Republic of South Africa’s application to the International Court of Justice against Israel for genocide convention violation. They said Palestine is the sacred place of Muslim Ummah, therefore they stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine today and in future too.
