ELECTION OF SINDH BAR COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON 28-11-2020
The Pakistan Bar Council appreciates Mr. Salman Talibuddin, Advocate-General, Sindh/Returning Officer, Sindh Bar Council Election-2020, who after being persuaded by Mr. Abid Saqi, Vice-Chairman, Mr. Azam Nazeer Tarar, Chairman, Executive Committee, Pakistan Bar Council and other learned Members of the Pakistan Bar Council from the Province of Sindh namely M/s Akhtar Hussain, Muhammad Yousaf Laghari, Rasheed A. Razvi, Ghulam Shabbir Shar and Muhammad Aqil, has withdrawn his Circular/Notification No. 38-39/SBC/Elec-2020 dated 26-11-2020, as a result of which the election of the Sindh Bar Council will be held on 28-11-2020, as per the schedule earlier announced.
It is a matter of satisfaction that the unrest created among Advocates in general and Candidates in the ensuing election of Sindh Bar Council, in particular, due to issuance of Circular dated 26-11-2020, regarding postponement of election of the Sindh Bar Council, has come to an end, and the election of the Sindh Bar Council for sure will be held on 28-11-2020, simultaneously with elections of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and Islamabad Bar Councils.
